Bangladesh is one of the most overpopulated countries in the world. Life is very complicated here. Many people live in poverty. Basic needs to the poor people are not available. Otherwise, national problems like overpopulation, adverse natural calamities such as flood, cyclone etc., unemployment, illiteracy and political instability have deteriorated the situation seriously towards the growth of its economy up to the desired standard. The govt. alone is not sufficient to cope up with these complexities. It has become essential to think device way to deal multi-mode problems through a non-profitable voluntary organization. Hence, non-govt. Organizations with internal and external support have come forward with various urban and rural programs for the welfare of the poor people and community of Bangladesh. MAYNA Foundation is a non-government, non-political and established on 29/10/2016 with a view to assist the improvement of the Socio-Economic status of the rural disadvantaged, unskilled and economically backward people. SEBA FOUNDATION stands for Socio-Economic Association, In the year 2016 MAYNA FOUNDATION directly started its intervention at the field level, after having the legal status from the govt. of Bangladesh by providing various support and services to the destitute people of Bangladesh. 08The majority of the populations live at or below subsistence level where illiteracy, food shortage, poor health, malnutrition and short life expectancy are quite common. The major focus of MAYNA Foundation on the area mentions above in order to address by these numerous GOB/Non-Govt. and international donors provided their financial and technical support. The major programming priority of the organization is women empowerment, community development, agriculture, education & training, health & nutrition, food security, human rights and micro credit program.
